1. Who we are

The Service is provided by JrodCode. Contact for privacy questions: info@appleicons.com or via Support if you have an account.

2. Information we collect

• Account data — email address, name (if provided), password (stored hashed), and optional authenticator-app 2FA settings and recovery codes (hashed).
• Usage data — icon generation counts, selected platforms, subscription tier, and generation history metadata needed to provide the Service.
• Uploaded images — source images you upload to generate icon sets, and resulting files we store so you can download or view history.
• Support — messages and ticket details you send through Support.
• Technical data — IP address and session identifiers (used for free-tier limits, security, and abuse prevention).
• Payment data — payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited information such as payment status and customer identifiers; we do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use information

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service (icon generation, accounts, history, support).
• Enforce plan limits and process one-time purchases.
• Send transactional email (account activation, support notifications).
• Secure the Service (authentication, fraud and abuse prevention).
• Show advertising to guests and free-tier users (see Advertising below).
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Advertising

If you use the Service as a guest or on the free plan, we may display ads through Google AdSense (or similar partners). These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Paid plans do not show these ads.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use session cookies for login and security, and may set cookies related to free-tier usage limits. Ad partners may set their own cookies when ads are shown. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit features of the Service.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed with:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Email delivery — transactional mail via our configured SMTP provider (e.g. Google).
• Advertising partners — for free-tier / guest ads (e.g. Google AdSense).
• Service hosting — infrastructure that runs the Service.
• Legal — when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

7. Data retention

We retain account and usage data while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service. You may delete your account in Settings; related data is removed subject to backups and legal retention needs. Anonymized or aggregated technical records may remain.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as hashed passwords, optional 2FA, and HTTPS in production. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International users

The Service may be hosted in the United States or other locations. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed in countries that may have different data-protection rules than your own.

11. Your choices

• Update account details or delete your account in Settings.
• Contact us to request access or correction where applicable.
• Upgrade to a paid plan to use the Service without our display ads.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
